Devotional Guide for the week of September 4th

 1.     Note these scripture passages that speak to the True Self: who we are in God and who God is in us:  Genesis 1:26 and Galatians 1:15-16; 2:20; 4:19; 6:14-15. What might these passages tell us about what it means to be “fearfully and wonderfully made”?

 2.      In Galatians 2:20 the Apostle Paul states, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” What would you say is “alive” in you today? To be more specific, what is coming alive in you because Christ lives in you?

 3.      How is Christ alive and forming in us? What does it mean to life True Self/New Creation? How does someone experience it on a daily basis? Dr. Bill Plotkin’s map of the human psyche is a helpful map in referring to our “facets of wholeness” in experiencing the aliveness of Christ: The Nurturing Generative Adult; The Innocent/Sage; The Wild Indigenous One; and The Muse Beloved. (The map is found in Plotkin’s “Wild Mind” and in Dr. Dan’s book “Finding Your Wild.”
