1. What is The ROUND PANTRY?

   The ROUND PANTRY is a distributing agency of Community Food Share (CFS); we provide nutritious food to anyone in need, at no cost to recipients. The ROUND PANTRY operates on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, except December, when we operate on the 2nd Tuesday only. We use a drive line distribution process and Shoppers receive standard, pre-packed bags of food.

2. Why we do this?

   Jesus’ charge to “feed my sheep,” [John 21:17] is taken to heart. The ROUND PANTRY has continuously worked to fulfill this mission to feed the hungry in body, mind and spirit since 2010.

3. Where is The ROUND PANTRY?

   — Where: Westview Presbyterian Church  (the round or ‘Chocolate Chip’ church)

   — Location: 1500 Hover Street, Longmont

   — Directions: Hover St. and 15th Ave.; Bus #326

4. How do we do this?

   Westview’s Session, Outreach Ministry Area, and members plus Community Food Share, generous donors, and many, many volunteers provide the hands and the means to provide food to the hungry. Each guest is greeted with respect, acceptance and joy. The ROUND PANTRY has no paid staff members.

5. How many people use The ROUND PANTRY?

   The numbers of families served each pantry week has grown more than 3.5 times since the start of the pandemic. In February 2020, The ROUND PANTRY served just over 200 households at each Pantry; by December 2020, we were serving between 800 and 900 each Pantry week.
