What to Expect

Join us Sundays at 9:30am in-person or on livestream.

At Westview, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. We want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive. All you have to do from here is come as you are and find out more for yourself! Here is the Livestream link.

At a weekend service, you can expect:

  • Some folks wearing dress suits and others wearing hoodies. Wear what’s comfortable to you.

  • Service to last about one hour.

  • Thought-provoking and engaging messages based on the Bible.

  • Engaging worship music & prayer.

  • Community & coffee fellowship.

  • A place to belong. You are welcome here. Ministry Teams, Community Care, and Small Groups help us create a community you can grow, laugh, and serve with.

  • A place to believe. We believe the Good News of Jesus changes everything.

  • A place to become. We want to equip you with the tools to develop as a follower of Christ. As an individual, family, or part of a Small Group, you can find the tools to become more like Jesus here.

  • A place to bring. God created you with gifts and skills that you can use to change lives in your community and the world. Serve at Westview.

  • A place to be brave. We want to be brave followers of Jesus throughout our lives. Within the Westview community you’ll be encouraged to live vibrantly in the world, not isolated from its challenges.

    1. Sunday Bible Study - Currently studying ‘Tears of Things’ by Richard Rohr. Meeting at 11:00 am every Sunday.

    2. Fun worship activities for your kids.

    3. Communion every first Sunday of the month.

    4. Community and coffee fellowship following the service.

  • Wednesdays

    • Bible Study every Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Damascus Room.

    • Zoom Bible Study every Wednesday online at 2:30pm. (Please contact the Church Office for a link and more information.)

    • Lenten Service & Simple Supper - The season of Lent is here! This year we will honor this time of prayer and contemplation in preparation for Easter by offering a brief Taizé worship service on the Wednesday evenings during Lent, followed by a simple supper. All are welcomed to join on Wednesdays at 5:30 for a meditation in the sanctuary and then enjoy gathering together to share a meal in the Outreach Room. We hope to see you for the services and meals on March 11, 18, 25, and April 1.

    • Choir - Under the leadership of Dr. Karin Buer and Kay Daugherty, the choir rehearses two Wednesdays each month from September through May from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, in the sanctuary, and then again at 8:45 am on Sunday morning before the worship service.

  • Kids

    • Children’s Time is September - May after the Children’s Sermon and Pretzel Prayer.

    • Kids Gather Round - Meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. It is a free, parent/caregiver-led playgroup that seeks to provide an engaging environment for children from birth to age 5 to play, socialize, and (most importantly) have fun! Learn More.

  • Adults

    • The Round Pantry provides food on the SECOND and FOURTH Tuesday of each month using a drive line process. Shoppers drive up (or walk up) to get food during the hours of 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed is you’re interested in assisting. Volunteer here.

    • Men’s Coffee Fellowship - Join other men of faith every Thursday morning at 8:00 am for a cup of coffee to discuss life issues. All are welcome! Location: The coffee shop at CommonSpirit Hospital, 1950 Mountain View Avenue, Longmont, CO. Contact the church office for questions.

    • Men’s Breakfast - Provided the first Saturday of the month from September through May at 8:00 am.

    • Card Making - meets at 1:00 pm on the third Tuesday of the month, please call the office to confirm the details at (303) 776 - 3242.

    • Mexican Train Dominoes - Meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. (Contact: Wanda Heibein through our church office.)
